Keller Canyon RNG Phase 2 & 3

Located at the Keller Canyon Landfill in Pittsburg, Ameresco, the largest independent energy service company in Northern America is constructing a new LFG (Landfill-Gas-To-Energy) to an RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) treatment system facility. This 2,600-acre landfill is now California’s newest clean, renewable, and that natural gas pipeline that produces approximately 3.8MWs of renewable energy that will power over 2,200 homes in the Palo Alto and Alameda area.

Transpacific Steel has been hired to furnish and install the reinforcing steel for the RNG processing facility.
